Databricks Specialist at Knowit

As a Databricks Specialist, you will design and build modern data platforms using Databricks and Lakehouse architecture. You will work across the full data lifecycle, from ingestion to advanced analytics, with a strong focus on performance, governance, and scalability.

You will be part of Knowit Solutions Lakehouse, our national initiative across Malmö, Gothenburg, and Stockholm, where we bring together top expertise in Databricks and modern data architecture to deliver strategically important solutions for our clients.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing Databricks based Lakehouse solutions

• Building and optimizing data pipelines for both batch and streaming data

• Structuring data for analytics, AI, and ML use cases

• Implementing and managing Unity Catalog for data governance

• Collaborating with cross functional teams and client stakeholders

• Contributing to architecture decisions and best practices in Data engineering

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with experience in Data engineering, from mid level Data engineers to senior architects.

You have:

• Hands on experience with Databricks and cloud platforms

• Solid skills in Python and SQL

• A curious mindset and a collaborative approach

Experience with AI and ML is a plus.
