Arial + Knowit = 🖤
Knowit’s typographic expression is based on and around Arial. Arial is a standard typeface that comes preinstalled on Windows and MacOS, and is available in regular, italic, bold and bold italic. As a rule, we use Arial Regular. Bold and bold italic are used to highlight text. Arial has a clean, timeless typography that reflects Knowit’s values well.
Arial for Knowit is a specially designed font which works as a “building block,” connecting the logo, typography, and icons in a natural manner. You can see little subtle “hands” and “feet” on certain letters. The building block is also the core element of icons, patterns, and backgrounds. The font Arial for Knowit is used at the decorative and profile level, for instance as main headings online, and in printed and digital publications.

Our main font is Arial Regular, which should be used for all types of texts: headings, leads, body texts, and numbers. Arial Regular is available to everyone, timeless, and user-friendly. Text is left-aligned and with default spacing between lines and letters in body text.
Letter spacing: Auto
Line spacing: At least 1.0, maximum 1.5
Don’t do this
Don’t use too low values for letter spacing.
Don’t use too high values for letter spacing.
Don’t modify the typography.
Don’t use with effects.
Don’t use too high values for line spacing.
Don’t use too low values for line spacing.
Avoid justified paragraphs. Left-aligned text is preferred.
This is Arial for Knowit. The font is based on Arial and has been made for single words and short sayings, and to bring a little more personality to long-lasting design elements. For instance for events, signs, and web pages. The font is a support-font and only used for single words or the employee value proposition.
