Colors

Colors are important identifiers that work as a framework and guide to set Knowit apart. The goal is that our audience will immediately think of Knowit when they see our colors, that the colors will support our values, and that they lead to cheerful, pleasant associations.

Our color palette is inspired by warm, organic hues. Try pear, flamingo or sand for decorative elements. What about a harmonic background in forest, melon or clay? Get something to pop using a lollipop color! Here, you will find all the colors you can play around with, as well as information on where and when they should be used and how they can be combined.

When to choose between digital or print colors? Digital colors are only used when viewed on a digital device and print colors are used for printouts.

All colors can be used in saturation between 5 and 100%.

Here’s how to do it

Knowit’s color palette is relatively large and contains many colors. The possibility of toning the colors further expands the palette. The colors can be combined in many different ways and it is important to ensure the right Knowit feel, and that the clarity and contrast effect is sufficient, whatever your application.

Use our lollipop colors with creativity, but also with care. The lollipop colors can be used to make the following pop: a spark, an arrow or a thin line.

Don’t do this

  • Always ensure sufficient contrast and clarity.

  • Do not use colors outside our palette.

  • Avoid gradients.

  • Lollipop colors should not be used as background colors.

  • Do not use a lollipop color as font color.

  • Do not use a lollipop color as font color.
